Hi, I’m Heidi 👋
I share the same name as Heidi, Girl of the Alps, and I guess I’m also someone who loves being outdoors.
I’m currently a Front-End Engineer based in Tokyo.
If I had to describe myself in a few words: I enjoy taking on challenges, I’m naturally curious, and I take responsibility for the choices I make.
I love cats, traveling, and exploring new things.
My journey into programming started from something simple — I just wanted to build a travel blog.
I began learning through online courses, and later joined the Lidemy Mentor Program, where I gradually found the direction I wanted to pursue.
Now that my life has moved to Tokyo, besides coding, I’ve also become deeply interested in yoga and camping.
For me, these activities are different ways of understanding myself and exploring how I want to live.
This blog is where I document my journey — from frontend and backend development, to outdoor experiences, and life in Japan.
